The last ISKA World title …
… with 6 times World Champion Mr. Mohamed FAHR is clear now, all contracts are signed yet. Fahr hold stil three World titles in different important federations. This is his last fight in Europe after a long and successfully careerer.
His last fight will be in his home town Port Said on December 2nd, more details about this huge event in Africa soon …
His opponent is the Ukraine “lumberjack” Yurii GORBUNKOV from Kiev. Gorbunkov is famous for many knock-outs in his fights. For sure we will have an interessting fight. Mohamed the technical fighter vs. Yurii the Ukrainian elementary force.
NEW Ladiesfight
Sonia KIKUTA retired from the event because of personal reasons.
Myra WINKLEMANN is current European ISKA Champion (amateur) in Thai Boxing and one of the best female fighter in Austria. She is multiple Austrian Champion and won her last fight on August 21st by points.
Her opponent Diana YAKOVLEVA comes from Team Lviv in Ukraine. Although she is younger than Myra she has got a lot of experience an is current Ukraine Champion. Most of her fights she won by KO !
Extrafight
The winner of the Extra fight get the chance to enter the 8 man tournament as replacement in case of injury of one of the other fighters.
This could become a very interesting fight too. Adil OSMANI from Tosan Gym in Vienna is the man in the Ring. He is a solid fighter with good fight record and fought already twice outside for the European title, which he lost close by points. Many people come to see him, because of his aggressive style to fight. When he win this fight he could get an offer for an European title at home in Vienna.
His opponent Dardan MORINA is also a strong and tough fighter. He comes from Ingolstadt in Germany, recommended by Mrs. Judith LINTOW, the management from Johannes WOLF. Morina won in youth division the IFMA European cup 2006, was later in 2007 ISKA twice European Champion (amateur) in Fullcontact and in Lowkick and since March 2008 he is current ISKA European Champion in K-1 style (oriental rules).
Because of Visa problems one of the fighter cannot make the fight, we booked Alan KARCEWSKI from team DIMOS in the 8 man tournament. Alan made a lot of good fights in the past and he is the local hero for the polish fans in Vienna. He is of course in the second pool and could meet Fadi MERZA just in the finale.
Boxing
The Boxing fight is thanks to Mr. Peter POSPICHAL, Austria’s strongest manager and promoter for high class Boxing events. His fighter Gogi KNECEVIC get the right to fight for the European Champion title, when he win this match in 8 x 3 minutes.
The French Boxer Amar AMARI has also a good fight record and is known as smart and experienced fighter. The Boxing federation nominated him as opponent for Knecevic for this important fight.
Kickboxing World Championship in full contact
The current ISKA World Champion Thorsten SPRINGER fight in full contact rules for the vacant WKF World title. It was scheduled before to defend his ISKA belt but his management signed a contract for October 9th, to fight vs. the British Super Star Marlon HUNT in Ipswich, England. Because of that reason he get today the nr. 6 of the WKF World ranking list. (www.wkfkickboxing.net)
We got not much information about Mr. KANCHUGA, but he will be doubtless a strong fighter. He is current Ukraine Champion and we expect a hart fight, scheduled on 12 x 2 minutes.
